Experience
Ever since I started attending community college, I knew I wanted to have a career in mathematics. I have teaching experience at Edmonds Community College's Tutoring Center and a passion for sharing my love of math with students. My experience includes: TUTORING (EDMONDS COMMUNITY COLLEGE) SPRING-AUTUMN 2011 Provided students tutoring and test preparation services on every math class offered in the college curriculum (basic arithmetic through multivariable calculus). Leveraged communication skills to effectively help students with various abilities and backgrounds. SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTOR (TA) (EDMONDS COMMUNITY COLLEGE) AUTUMN 2011 Handpicked by Professor among all available tutors to work one on one with students in a pre-calculus course. Held review sessions in my own classroom on campus once a week for students to ask questions and receive further assistance. Assisted in answering questions and moderating group activities during class.
